ArbitralWomen & YAWP Go Behind the Scenes

Join SCC Specialist Counsel Jake Lowther for a joint session by ArbitralWomen and YAWP in connection with Copenhagen Arbitration Days 2026.

Date: 02 October 2026

Time: 10.00–12.00

Location: Copenhagen, Denmark

International arbitration in the Nordics is often discussed in terms of substantive law and headline awards – but what about everything else? The logistics, the unwritten rules, the moments that never make it into the case reports?

Join YAWP and ArbitralWomen for a candid, practitioner-led panel discussion bringing together voices from across the Nordic region – and from every seat at the table: arbitrator, tribunal secretary, legal counsel, and institutional counsel. Together, they will pull back the curtain on the practical realities of running an arbitration in the Nordics: the details that shape outcomes but rarely make it into training sessions or textbooks.

Whether you are just starting out or have sat through dozens of hearings, there is something here for you.

We will close the session with a networking segment introducing two vital communities for the arbitration community: YAWP and ArbitralWomen.

Open to all practitioners. You do not need to be a YAWP or ArbitralWomen member to join us.
