Humboldt Dispute Resolution Conference

The SCC Arbitration Institute is pleased to announce its participation in the 10th anniversary edition of the Humboldt Dispute Resolution Conference, held under the theme Changing Tides of International Arbitration to mark ten years of the IDR LL.M. Programme. The conference is organised on behalf of Gerhard Wagner and the IDR LL.M. Alumni at Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin.

SCC’s participation

SCC Specialist Counsel Jake Lowther and SCC Board member Alicja Zielińska-Eisen will both take part in this year’s programme. They will join fellow alumni and programme lecturers, including Gerhard Wagner and Philipp K. Wagner, in the session “Decade of Impact: The IDR LL.M. Story”, running from 11.15 to 12.15.

About the conference

The day’s programme also includes a panel discussion on energy disputes in international arbitration, moderated by Laura Halonen, with speakers from across the arbitration community.

A further panel will examine law firms’ use of AI and the experience of new associates, moderated by Courtney Lotfi.

The SCC has a long-standing connection to the Berlin arbitration community, and we are proud to see SCC colleagues contribute to a conference that has become a fixture in the German and international arbitration calendar.
