For over six years, the event has brought together practitioners, policymakers, and academics to exchange knowledge and shape the future of arbitration. This year’s edition will focus on the challenges and solutions driving Arab arbitration practice.
The SCC is proud to support the 6th edition of the Arab Arbitration Conference (AAC), taking place on 3–4 October 2025 in Cairo, Egypt, under the theme Challenges and Solutions in Arab Arbitration Practice.
Since its launch in 2017, AAC has established itself as one of the region’s most important platforms for dialogue on commercial and investment arbitration. This year’s edition will bring together over 250 participants, 40+ expert speakers, and leading organizations to exchange insights on recent legislative reforms, enforcement challenges, and innovative approaches shaping the arbitration landscape.
The 2025 program will feature interactive discussions on key issues, including:
- Recent reforms to arbitration laws in major jurisdictions such as England and France
- Enforcement of arbitral awards, including against sovereign entities
- The role of technology and third-party funding in arbitration
- Arab judicial precedents in light of international practice
