SCC Supports: Brussels I Bis in Practice: Arbitration, State Immunity, Parallel Proceedings, Enforcement

The Swedish Branch of the International Law Association and Westerberg & Partners invite you to a seminar on the role of the Brussels I Bis regulation in international cases.

Date: 18 September 2025

Time: 10.15–15.15

Location: Stockholm, Sweden

How can the Regulation be used for effective litigation? What difficulties may arise? How can proceedings be supported or hindered with the help of the Regulation? What applies to anti-suit injunctions (and anti-anti-suit injunctions)? What questions may arise when a dispute concerns the actions of a state? What applies to the enforcement of judgments and arbitral awards?

The SCC proudly supports this seminar which is open to lawyers who wish to increase their knowledge and practical skills in the subject, and entitles participants to 5 hours of continuing legal education. Relevant material will be emailed to registered participants before the seminar.
