Kristin Campbell-Wilson appointed new Secretary General of the SCC

Ms Campbell-Wilson has served as the SCC’s Deputy Secretary General since 2012, and as Acting Secretary General since April 2021, when Ms Annette Magnusson stepped down from the post. Ms Campbell-Wilson is also a member of the management group of the Stockholm Chamber of Commerce.

“After a thorough and extensive recruitment process, we are now very happy to appoint Kristin Campbell-Wilson as the new Secretary General of the SCC. Kristin has broad experience from law firms, international arbitration, and leadership. She has been one of the key figures in developing the SCC and has successfully headed the fantastic team at the secretariat for the past eight years. Kristin will continue to improve the SCC and enhance the level of dispute resolution services offered to its users,” says Andreas Hatzigeorgiou, CEO of the Stockholm Chamber of Commerce.

Prior to joining the SCC, Ms Campbell-Wilson was a lawyer in the dispute resolution group at the Stockholm office of an international law firm. As SCC Deputy Secretary General since 2012, she has headed the case management team and lead the development of institutional rules and procedures and other business development activities, most recently the online SCC Platform and the SCC Express dispute resolution tool launched earlier this year. She is a sought-after speaker and moderator at domestic and international arbitration-related events.

“The SCC is quick on its feet, and continuously seeks to adapt and improve our services to best serve the Swedish and international business communities. We are currently going through a phase of expansion, with recent additions to the SCC portfolio of services, and several new team members. We will also find new forms of networking, to maintain our role as a natural meeting place for the international arbitration community, business and other stakeholders”, says Ms Campbell-Wilson.
