Pre-conference discussion 

At a pre-conference hosted by BAHR speakers of the major Scandinavian arbitral institutions, as well as ICC, will provide a comparative overview of Nordic and Continental perspectives on court assistance in arbitration. 

They will share their experiences with utilising interim measures available to commercial parties in international arbitration, including war stories and strategic insights.  

Networking reception with lunch will follow the discussion prior to walking to the University of Oslo for those attending Norwegian Arbitration Day.

Norwegian arbitration day 

At the Norwegian Arbitration Day, Madeleine Thörn will speak about amicable settlements and mediation in arbitration - structure and incentives. More specifically, Madeleine will address the current use of mediation in Sweden and comment on the future of mediation as a stand-alone dispute resolution method as well as a measure to combine with arbitration.
