Solidarity Arbitration and Mediation Days 2024: “Shaping Horizons: Current Challenges and Innovations in Infrastructure, Construction and Energy in Central and Eastern Europe”

The SCC’s new Specialist Counsel, Jake Lowther, will be speaking on a panel discussing “New Investments in Energy. Causes of Energy Disputes: Past and Future.” This session is scheduled for 11.30 on 24 October.

The SCC is a neutral organization established in 1917 to administer disputes independently and impartially, promoting the peaceful resolution of conflicts through inter alia arbitration and mediation. It has a long-established role with parties from Central and Eastern Europe, particularly in the energy sector.

The Solidarity Arbitration and Mediation Days 2024 conference (SAMD) is organized on a not-for-profit basis, with proceeds going to a scholarship fund for Ukrainian students and junior lawyers. The conference will be conducted in-person and online, with simultaneous translation into Ukrainian, Polish and English.
