Meet the SCC: Nordic Arbitration Day

Nordic Arbitration Day (NAD) is a full-day arbitration conference for young arbitration practitioners aged 45 or under organised by YACF in collaboration with the young arbitration associations in Sweden, Norway, Denmark and Iceland.

For the first time, the conference is followed by dinner and afterparty. The dinner will be held in dinner groups at different restaurants in the Helsinki city centre after which all participants will gather once more for the afterparty.

SCC Supports: Istanbul Arbitration Days

In the last 10 years, a great number of Turkish companies have turned to the SCC to resolve their commercial disputes each year. The SCC is clearly often the preferred arbitration institute for companies in Turkey and the wider region. 

Istanbul Arbitration Days aim to be a cornerstone of arbitration in Türkiye and in the wider region, contributing to the advancement of both national and international arbitration practices by discussing hot topics in arbitration. 

Meet the SCC: Roschier Disputes Index 2024

Discover the key trends in Nordic corporate dispute resolution at the launch of the Roschier Disputes Index. The report is based on interviews with representatives of many of the largest companies in Finland, Sweden, Norway and Denmark. The latest results are compared with those from the previous decade, providing a unique insight into the long-term trends in the Nordic dispute resolution market. 

Meet the SCC: Norwegian Arbitration Day

Pre-conference discussion 

At a pre-conference hosted by BAHR speakers of the major Scandinavian arbitral institutions, as well as ICC, will provide a comparative overview of Nordic and Continental perspectives on court assistance in arbitration. 

They will share their experiences with utilising interim measures available to commercial parties in international arbitration, including war stories and strategic insights.  

Meet the SCC: The Future of Collaboration in Business Law

Helsinki: Krogerus Disputes Day

Recovery, Reconstruction and Modernization – Designing the Future: Best Practices in Dispute Avoidance and Resolution

SCC are supporting the Solidarity Arbitration and Mediation days 6-7 December in Warsaw co-organized by the Faculty of Law and Administration at the University of Warsaw and the Arbitration Court at the Polish Chamber of Commerce in Warsaw. 

On 6 november SCC Deputy Secretary General Natalia Petric will be speaking at the seminar "The Future of International Arbitration in the New Security Situation: Ukrainian and International Perspectives".
