Webinar: The Use of AI by Counsel and Arbitrators: The Institutions’ Perspective
Should the use of AI be disclosed? Who is to decide and when is such decision taken? SCC Secretary General Caroline Falconer will participate in a panel debate on the institutional perspectives of the use of AI by Counsel and Arbitrators.
There are both advantages and risks with the use of different AI tools in arbitrations. The use of AI could result in even more time and cost effecient procedures. The use of AI raises however also sensitive issues, such as the equal treatment of parties, delegation of power to decide, data protection, cybersecurity, confidentiality to mention a few. This will be discussed during a webinar organised by CEIA Capitulo Nordico-Baltico.
