Norway has traditionally favored ad hoc arbitration. One reason for this preference may be that Norwegian lawyers are not familiar with the services offered by the Nordic arbitration institutes and how an institutional arbitration process works. We will discover the pros and cons of institutional arbitration at a seminar hosted by Simonsen Vogt Wiig in Oslo.
The seminar aims to delve into the dynamics of institutional and ad hoc arbitration from a Nordic perspective. We believe it is crucial to foster a deeper understanding of the advantages and disadvantages of these arbitration methods, particularly within the Norwegian market.
